Prenatal Workouts

What are some of your favorite prenatal workouts to do at home? I have been doing BodyFit by Amy Youtube workouts since I was about 14 weeks once my nausea passed. These workouts consist of pilates, full body, cardio kick, strength and weighted workouts. I’ve really been enjoying these workout videos but think I need something a little more challenging or longer. Any one have any suggestions? I have seen moms do beach body workouts with their children which I have tried and it is really hard to get in a workout with a toddler but still do-able.

A New Addition

18 weeks pregnant with this little ones brother or sister! Sorry I’ve been MIA lately it’s been exhausting being pregnant and chasing after my little guy. Next week is our gender reveal! If there is one thing I learned it is how hard it is to get a baby to smile. It takes a lot of patience but look how cute these turned out!

These images are done by Lovely Day Events. Lindsay’s work is amazing and I highly recommend her if you live in the Pittsburgh area. She has done my maternity, newborn and fall photos and we plan on using her again in the future. I enjoy being able to capture all the “firsts” for my baby and adding these to his first year album.

Always said I Would Never Do this as a Mom and I’m Happy I Did: #babyfood

I actually made my own baby food and it turned out great (the second try)! It is actually very simple but when I was pregnant with my son I always said “I’m not going to be that mom that makes her own baby food” well it turns out I am and it is super easy. I made strawberry banana oatmeal and used extra ingredients so I could freeze the rest and use it later.

First, I used my @nutribullet to mix the fruit. It smoothens out the food so it is easy for your little one to consume. I used 4 bananas, half a carton of strawberries and 4 tablespoons of oatmeal. I skinned the strawberries and threw them in with the rest of the ingredients. I was able to freeze more than half of it and I kept some in the fridge for this week. I love carter’s baby clothes for my son. They have the cutest clothes for any occasion. We were headed off to our fall family photoshoot when we realized we did not have shoes for Colton. My husband ran into carter’s for some shoes and came out with a bunch of onesies and zip up onesies for Colton. Easy Crockpot Chicken Noodle Recipe

This recipe is super easy and all you have to do it throw it all in the crockpot!

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

 

  • Two chicken breasts
  • 1 bag of Reamen frozen noodles
  • 1 onion
  • Celery stock
  • Carrots
  • Turmeric
  • Pepper
  • Salt

First, put the chicken breast into the crockpot and set for 8 hours. Chop up your celery, carrots and onion. Pour all the vegetables into the crockpot and let it sit. 30 minutes before serving put the entire bag of noodles into the crockpot. Add salt, pepper, and turmeric as needed.
